Lovely site, very relaxing for families or couples of any age. Had a hard standing superior pitch which was most definitely superior with own grass area and picnic table and even provided cable for television connection. Couple of minor problems were quickly dealt with. kids loved the pool and play area and superb being able to book pool just for yourselves. toilet/shower blocks superb quality and cleanliness!
Response from Lincoln Farm Park on 3 Jun 2013:

Stayed here for the Jubilee. Lovely site in a nice location were we had a cracking day out in London. Facilities were second to none with toilet block very clean. One downside was that we had to pay to swim and also the weather didnt really help. Would recommend to anybody wishing to book.
Response from Lincoln Farm Park on 3 Jun 2013:
thank you for your review,we all take great pride in the quality and cleanliness here at the park,
the leisure center is indoors with saunas ,steam-room, spa,and childrens pool,
parks who do not charge for using pools usually charge a lot more for the pitch fees to cover the cost of using the pools .we feel this is unfair for customers who do not use the swimming pools, saunas spas.we charge on a pay as you go basis.
thank you for your review
hope to see you again
kindest regards

We have been caravanning now for some 28years and we try whenever possible to choose a Best of British Site as you know it will be good. We have stayed at Lincoln Farm on and off for around 10 years now and twice already this year. The facilities are second to none and the swimming pools are outstanding. The staff could not be more helpfull and couteous nothing is too much bother for them and they are always happy and pleasant. It is one of our 3 most favourite sites the others being Beaconsfield and Cenarth Falls. We look forward to our next visit, thankyou for all the hard work that you put in to keep the site top notch.

The weather couldnot have been worse, rain, rain and yet more rain BUT what a fabulous site, so well set out and maintained, a reception area where people could not have been more helpful, shower blocks to die for and overall excellent facilities. This quality of this site more than made up for the appalling weather. The local pub was a dream and the bus service right outside was a real bonus for us in amotorhome. We cannot praise this site enough and will be back!!

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Standlake. It was our first visit and it will definately not be our last. From the moment we arrived with the friendly and helpful staff and the very nice layout of the park we knew we may have found a regular park to visit. We were shown to our pitch and shown where all the facilities were (which were by the way very close). The shower/toilet blocks are extremely clean and modern with plenty of hot water. The refuse/recycling areas were constantly emptied so no fear of overflowing bins. The pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam room are very clean and very relaxing (we visited when the children were at school). The two local pubs were both very nice and friendly and the menus had plenty of choice. We caught the bus twice - once to Oxford and once to Witney and they were on timeand reasonably priced. There is another nice pub call the Rose Revived which is one stop on the bus although you can walk it through some woodland but its quite a distance and the road is too dangerous to walk along. Overall one of the best park we have visited.

We have just returned from a four night stay at your site and wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had and how impressed we are with your lovely park and the facilities you offer. The staff are so helful and friendly, a credit to the park.
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
The shower blocks are fantastically clean and spotless. The park area for the children was brillant. so safe for the kids and they loved it.
The kids loved to visit the animals. The pools were absolutly brillant and we all enjoyed having the pool to ourselves.
The pitchs are well spaced out and immaculate. The village is so picturestic.
All in all we had a fantastic time at lincoln farm park and will definatly recommend it to all our friends.
WE WILL DEFINATLY BE BACK
MANY THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF.....

Unfortunately we agree with the last two reviews. We booked almost 12 months ahead to get the pitch we wanted, we had emials confirming this was possible so we booked based on email confirmation. Not only did we not get the pitched booked. We ended up on a gravel pitch for large campervans, more like a car park. When challenged the staff did not care that they had no record of our booking. The park itself is very good, It just lacks any customer CARE. EG: the wifi access code changed two or three times while we were there yet we were never told, having paid extra was it so difficult to tell us? I did email once we retuned home but never got a reply. Sent a copy by post, that was ignored also. Overall impression was take your money and laugh! won't be going back, the worst service from any park.
I don't recommend this park to anyone, but not an option when writing this review!

This was the 3rd time we have spent August bank Holiday here over the last few years. Still a 5 star site but many people we spoke to were bemused by the fact they could not have extended stay on bank holiday afternoon and had to leave at 12. We were charged another nights stay at £35 for 6 hours more even though nobody was booked on to our pitch. The website says £6
A few people stayed and said the propreitors were getting greedy. At 7pm there were many empty pitches spoiling a lot of peoples Bank Holiday. we felt we were ripped off and wont be going back again

We were allocated a pitch directly behind the childrens play area which when we asked were told closed at 8pm. On the first night it closed after 9.30pm. The area is very large and in the late afternoon and evening is extremely noisy with mainly unsupervised children. When we complained about both this and the fact that the emergency contact walkie takie did not work we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable for the rest of our visit by the staff. They also did nothing about the play area closure time. Yes the bathroom facilities are to a very high standard but the poor attitude, unhelpfulness of the staff and their inability to deal with a complaint in a professional way, spoilt our stay with them.
Response from Lincoln Farm Park on 3 Oct 2011:
The customer visited the park during the summer holiday peak period for children.

While every attempt is made to close the Play area at the stated time, when it is still daylight, a warm summers evening the area is very popular for children enjoying themselvs on holiday, an element of flexibility is accepted.

Supervision of children is the responsibility of the parents, the park is seen as safe area children can on occasions, are unsupervised.

The Emergency walkie talkie is tested every night when set up at reception. this was demonstrated to this Particular customer at reception

We are surprised at the comments on the staff as most other visitor reviews show a very positive picture of the attitude of our staff.

We are very sorry this customer had a poor experience and apologise for this.

We visited this park not realising it was 5 star, subsequently we have visited other 5 star and have to say this site truely deserves its stars. We had a trailer tent and 2 children. The site was fantastic for children, we had lots of fun in the children's area, using the swimming pool (there is an extra charge), using the grass chess area as well as the information base. We would definately go back. Be advised the local pub was packed when we went and needed to be reserved or get in early.

Not at all surprised that they have won the AA award - well deserved! Thank you for a very warm and friendly welcome. The site is run to an exceptional standard and this is reflected in the cleanliness and standard of the facilities. We will definitely be back several times this year.

We stayed here with our toddler in July 2009, the welcome when we arrived was perfect, the staff are so friendly & helpful. They even helped us pitch our caravan! The facilities are of a very high standard & the swimming pool was fantastic, even a playpen for our toddler to sit in when she got bored in the water. The play area is fantastic, suitable for all ages. would definitely reccommend this site to anyone!

Even though we arrived shortly after a couple of inches of snow had settled and we had to be guided to our pitch the snow disappeared after a couple of days (my Snowman is still standing - just). We have made good use of the local facilities including the bus services to Oxford, Witney and Abingdon. We would recommend this site and indeed intend returning later in the year.

Lovely site with immaculate toilet/shower block. However, grass pitches and hardstanding become very waterlogged after spells of rain. At Spring Bank Holiday week 2008 the area where we were pitched along with four caravans and another tent was under two inches of water so that we had to wade out to the toilet block. At no time did the site staff ask how we were coping, yet they were using a submersible pump to clear other pitches ready for reuse.

Stumbled on this site, and was extremely impressed. The toilets and showers were always clean and the other facilities were good too. The separated ptiches gave good privacy and the hard standing was useful due to the poor weather. The dog walk area was good, but perhaps could be a bit bigger.
Overall we enjoyed the time at the site and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a fantastic site, we went as absolute novices and were shown with great patience how everything worked. The facilities are second to none, its beautifully laid out, its going to become a regular haunt for us, perfectly placed for a break away. But be warned! it will spoil you for lesser sites! although we dont have children the activities for children are amazing.

I would recommend anyone to go to this site. It is very good for familysThe swimming pool, sauna and steam room are very clean. The toilets/showers are cleaned regularly and are spotless. We went in August 2007 with a large tent, but the tent pitches where a little flooded/ muddy, so were put on gravel pitch this was ok apart from when the air bed went down it hurt a little. The weather was not fantastic but that just added to the fun we had. Staff on site very friendly and helpful. The children loved it too!

This site is excellent.
Everything about it was very clean and tidy.
The staff were vey helpful and after informing them of a possible late arrival, waited until 8.30 in the evening for us until we arrived.
One of the best, if not the best, of the many B.O.B. sites we have stayed in.

Our second visit was every bit as enjoyable as the first. Friendly helpful staff, spotless showers and toilets (at all times) peaceful and tranquil and the children loved the chickens. Immaculate pool and changing area. Altogether one of the best parks we have ever visited. Super pitches are a great idea !!!!

The previous individual contributors have more than amplified the many attributes of this site.
It truly is SPOTLESSLY clean with regard to all the on-site facilities, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's the sort of place you expect to find outside the UK rather than within its boundaries.
We found the extra cost of booking the pools for our own use to be excellent value for money and these in themselves were a model of cleanliness and efficiency.
It takes a great deal of hard work on the part of everyone involved in running this site to keep it the way that it is - and I commend it to anyone, for a long or short stay. We'll certainly be going again. Absolutely 10 out of 10!

This site was fantastic.
The facilities it had to offer were the best I have seen.
The swimming pool, sauna and steam room were excellent as well as the toilets and shower facilities.
They were of high standard. The music was a nice touch.
The pitches were good. I didn't stay on a service pitch but would be booking one when I visit again.
The only concern I had were the chickens woke you up very early but when you saw them around the park you couldn't help but laugh at them.
The site also had a chest freezer, microwave, laundry room and washing up facilities which were of high standard.
All in all I would give this site 10 out of 10.
There were pubs locally which were good and offered meals which were of good standard.
The staff were very helpful and very pleasant and worked very hard to make sure you enjoyed your stay.
I will be returning soon and looking forward to it.

A first class site for families or people wanting peace and quiet (If you want peace and quiet ask when booking and they will put you away from the play area). Facilities are first class the toilet and shower blocks are spacious, warm and clean and there is always plenty of hot water. Security is excellent and the park is spotless. This is a truly excellent site and really family friendly and secure with 2 pubs and a village shop within walking distance and a well stocked site shop.
The indoor pools and steam room help make the stay on site a terrific one but a tip is to book the pool for private use when you book the site, they do get booked up quickly at busy times!
