Lovely site with immaculate toilet/shower block. However, grass pitches and hardstanding become very waterlogged after spells of rain. At Spring Bank Holiday week 2008 the area where we were pitched along with four caravans and another tent was under two inches of water so that we had to wade out to the toilet block. At no time did the site staff ask how we were coping, yet they were using a submersible pump to clear other pitches ready for reuse. 1 of 1 people found this helpful. Stumbled on this site, and was extremely impressed. The toilets and showers were always clean and the other facilities were good too. The separated ptiches gave good privacy and the hard standing was useful due to the poor weather. The dog walk area was good, but perhaps could be a bit bigger. Overall we enjoyed the time at the site and would recommend it to anyone. This is a fantastic site, we went as absolute novices and were shown with great patience how everything worked. The facilities are second to none, its beautifully laid out, its going to become a regular haunt for us, perfectly placed for a break away. But be warned! it will spoil you for lesser sites! although we dont have children the activities for children are amazing. 1 of 1 people found this helpful. I would recommend anyone to go to this site. It is very good for familysThe swimming pool, sauna and steam room are very clean. The toilets/showers are cleaned regularly and are spotless. We went in August 2007 with a large tent, but the tent pitches where a little flooded/ muddy, so were put on gravel pitch this was ok apart from when the air bed went down it hurt a little. The weather was not fantastic but that just added to the fun we had. Staff on site very friendly and helpful. The children loved it too! Response from Lincoln Farm Park Oxfordshire on 5 Sep 2007: thank you for your kind remarks,it is always nice to recieve such nice comments, Thank you Regards All at L F P 1 of 1 people found this helpful. This site is excellent. Everything about it was very clean and tidy. The staff were vey helpful and after informing them of a possible late arrival, waited until 8.30 in the evening for us until we arrived. One of the best, if not the best, of the many B.O.B. sites we have stayed in. Our second visit was every bit as enjoyable as the first. Friendly helpful staff, spotless showers and toilets (at all times) peaceful and tranquil and the children loved the chickens. Immaculate pool and changing area. Altogether one of the best parks we have ever visited. Super pitches are a great idea !!!! The previous individual contributors have more than amplified the many attributes of this site. It truly is SPOTLESSLY clean with regard to all the on-site facilities, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's the sort of place you expect to find outside the UK rather than within its boundaries. We found the extra cost of booking the pools for our own use to be excellent value for money and these in themselves were a model of cleanliness and efficiency. It takes a great deal of hard work on the part of everyone involved in running this site to keep it the way that it is - and I commend it to anyone, for a long or short stay. We'll certainly be going again. Absolutely 10 out of 10! Was this review helpful? 19 Jul 2005 - Windsor (7) from Lancashire wrote This site was fantastic. The facilities it had to offer were the best I have seen. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room were excellent as well as the toilets and shower facilities. They were of high standard. The music was a nice touch. The pitches were good. I didn't stay on a service pitch but would be booking one when I visit again. The only concern I had were the chickens woke you up very early but when you saw them around the park you couldn't help but laugh at them. The site also had a chest freezer, microwave, laundry room and washing up facilities which were of high standard. All in all I would give this site 10 out of 10. There were pubs locally which were good and offered meals which were of good standard. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant and worked very hard to make sure you enjoyed your stay. I will be returning soon and looking forward to it. 2 of 2 people found this helpful. Facilities are first class the toilet and shower blocks are spacious, warm and clean and there is always plenty of hot water. Security is excellent and the park is spotless. There are 2 good pubs with good food within a few minutes walk and a great base for visits to the Cotswolds - Mark Duffield & Family (Warwickshire) Was this review helpful? 27 Feb 2005 - jontippett (6) from Northamptonshire wrote This is a truly excellent site and really family friendly and secure with 2 pubs and a village shop within walking distance and a well stocked site shop. The indoor pools and steam room help make the stay on site a terrific one but a tip is to book the pool for private use when you book the site, they do get booked up quickly at busy times!
