We had a lovley Bank Holiday at Poston Mill, shame about the weather though we made the most of it.

Can not really fault the park at all, beautifully maintained through out, the newly renovated toilet block will be great when finished.

We had a grass pitch very spacious and layed out in a nice circle with a bench area in the middle. Although the hard standing pitches are closer to the toilets etc, our grass pitch by the park was spot on.

The childrens park was everything you could ask for swings, slides, climbing, table tennis, tennis, babminton, football, boules, pitch and putt and a great old tractor the kids loved.

I would recomend this park for a great get away from it all, very peace full and beautifull with walks in the country

Just returned from a lovely weekend break at Poston Mill.

The site is very well maintained, currently undergoing a toilet/shower block refurbishment which didn’t pose any problems – everything was still kept very clean and tidy.

The hardstanding pitches are very spacious – plenty of room for an awning and car at the side. The grounds are very well kept, a pleasure to walk round the 33 acres. There is a lovely little river (Dore) which attracts various wildlife, the river itself has brown trout which you can fish for, so long as you put them straight back. This time of year of course, you can see the ducks with their ducklings paddling madly behind to keep up – they are so lovable. There’s a couple of walks marked out across the river into the countryside adjacent.

There are quite a few static caravans on site – all kept to an excellent standard. We got talking to a few of the regulars who were only too happy to give us information on the site, area etc.

Everyone was friendly – the bar/restaurant is managed by Caroline and Steve who were great company and we’re looking forward to going back and meeting up with them again.

We ate twice at the Mill during the weekend, the food being excellent both times – our thanks to Steve - Oh, and Caroline as she had done the mash one day (which, I have to say, was the nicest mash I’d ever tasted!).

Looking forward to going back later this summer.

Poston Mill was the first ever site my wife and I visited in a tourer about 4 years ago, it was October and dark by the time we got there the staff could not do enough to help us , which was great after a nerve racking journey ( my first time towing ) next morning a lovley site greeted us with spotless facilities and lovely walks by the brook add in a visit to Hay on Wye and you have the perfect break. A shining example of all that is great about BOB. We recommended Poston to our friends for thier first time in thier new Tourer they enjoyed it and thier 2 Children 7 & 3 loved the play area and the 7 year old enjoyed the chance to ride his bike around the site in total saftey.Just realised our friends have now posted own review Ckrbys just below. what more can one say A+++

just come back from poston mill, what a excellent site so peacefull and quite, very clean facilities and the staff were very helpfull and friendly. It was nice to have showers that actually worked for a change instead of the usual dribble you get from some site showers. Our kids loved it there because it had a wonderfull play area and well maintained, the pitches were a good size with all ammenties on pitch that you could want.Over all it gets a big thumbs up from us and would be more than happy to go back and without a doubt recommend it to everyone
