An excellent well presented site, showers and toilet block pristine, well heated and a pleasure to use. TV aerial connection adequate for normal terrestrial TV. Altogether one of the best sites we have taken our caravan to and we will be returning. motorhome point has now been installed we used this facility when we stayed last weekend, and for emptying grey waste when we left.there was an option for internet use but the wireles signal not good on opposite side of site to the reception area,we also have a 8 inch tv which is digital and never got a good signal from our van or using the site tv hook up (we had paid extra for) the local pub was good but please book in advance if you want to eat,it gets busy, good for walking hilly for cycling. my wife and I have been away again. The ammenities are protacabins in a cow shed and the is only one set for the whole site and they were the other side of the site and queueing can be required. When we were there, there was NO facitities to refil the water tanks on the motorhome except for driving next to a water point on an empty pitch and fill from there, had the pitch become occupied then we would have had to move site. There was NO motorhome dump area for grey waste. The site rules are also not enforced as my dog (on a lead ) was attacked by a dog off the lead and the was no sign of a warden. A good point was that the main road that runs next to the site although noisey all day does go quite at night. Was this review helpful? |
