The site is very easy to find with good access off the main road, the location is excellent the park is superb. the amenities are second to none... the staff very pleasant, and will even site your caravan for you. The play field is great for ball games and kite flying. The pitches are all well maintained. Will definitely visit again. We were introduced to this park by accident and having just spent a fantastic week there I can only say it is the best park we have ever visited in over 30 years of caravanning! If We plan to go next year for a longer holiday. Congratulations to the owners for a well organised and spectacular park. I just hope we can get booked up again next year? 1 of 1 people found this helpful. I can only repeat what has already been said before, this has to be one of the best sites in Devon if not the country, well done Helen & Mark for providing the perfect site for almost any ones needs, and all at a very reasonable cost, I think the two main clubs could learn a thing or two by visiting this site. Hope to be back soon , Mark & Jan Was this review helpful? 30 Aug 2006 - Ray R (10) from Lancs wrote Overall: Pitch (touring or tent) OR Accommodation (holiday home, chalet or lodge): Overall appearance of the park: Facilities provided by the park: Welcome/Customer Service:
Just returned from another summer break at Ross Park. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners or staff here , from the moment you arrive Mark sees you to your pitch , all of which are immaculatly kept be it grass or hard standing . A small restaraunt and bar serves wonderful food each evening except Tuesday all of which is reasonably priced . The toilet and showers are cleaned to a very high standard and hot water is readily available. Children can look forward to a wonderful play area or take advantage of the table tennis or Pool tables , a small video game arcade and Tv room are also available. Take a walk around the park to see the wonderful floral displays and conservation area . If you have a four legged friend then this is a doggy heaven, a dog walk that has to be seen to be believed and even their own shower room ! . A must for anyone visiting Devon . We had a great Easter at Ross Park, Lovely park very well presented and very clean shower blocks, great play areas and walks, most pitches big and flat. The children really enjoyed the easter eggs handed out by Helen, the only bad points a few slopping pitches and road noise can be heard if your under canvas, Though this ia a truly beautifull park Was this review helpful? 27 Aug 2006 - darrentania (5) from Berkshire wrote Overall: Pitch (touring or tent) OR Accommodation (holiday home, chalet or lodge): Overall appearance of the park: Facilities provided by the park: Welcome/Customer Service:
This was our 1st season with our caravan and we couldn"t believe how helpful, friendly and courteous Mark and Helen the owners were on our arrival.Mark guided us to our pitch and even un-hitched the caravan and sited it for us using his small tractor.EXCELLENT.took the worry away from what many newcomers fear, reversing. All the staff on site were more than friendly, facilities excellent and clean, bar prices very good and the children enjoyed the bingo in the club house and the childrens adventure area. Our holidaying dog very much enjoyed the vast dog walk and also enjoyed being pampered in the dog shower room, she cannot wait until next year to come. Will be booking again for next season.EXCELLENT SITE. This site is great for families with dogs, also well placed for beaches and local attractions.well done to all for a most enjoyable 1st caravan holiday. We had a wonderful thing at this beautiful park. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived and had help siting. Site was very clean and well-landscaped with well-proportioned pitches. Nothing was too much trouble. The on site dog walks for our two gorgeous dogs (spaniel and laborador) were excellent and well maintained. The childrens play area was spacious and secure. The restaurant offered excellent service and was good value. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue and family entertainment on Sunday. I'm sure we will return annually!! This is our 13th season at ross park and never had an unlucky one yet, Ross park is a beatiful campsite with the spacious pitch's over looking the fabulous dartmoor, The staff here are very friendly and try to cater for everyone no matter what the need or the hour, The facilities here offer a great holiday from couples to the older generation and families. It boasts a fantastic bar and resturant complementing the dog walks and snooker room. I find you will struggle to find a better campsite than this that offers such a wide range of facilities and different entertainment but set in a beatiful landscape A great place for a holiday to forget about to the strains and stresses of everyday life 1 of 1 people found this helpful.
