Description
We are proud to say that Woodovis Park was voted 18th out of 100 in the Top 100 Parks Award 2008! We welcome you to visit Woodovis to enjoy a 'get away from it all' holiday on our small 5 star holiday park set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the Tamar Valley. We have two touring fields with our Holiday Homes separated into 3 areas. Our pitches are mostly flat, many backing on to our small tree plantantion or backing onto a hedge and with fields all around. A great place to base yourself in order to enjoy exploring Devon and Cornwall and also to pamper yourself and relax in our indoor heated pool, spa and sauna.
Other facilities
We offer peace and quiet. Indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and spa pool. Bread, croissants and pain au chocolat are baked on site daily in our little shop.
We also have mini-golf, archer (Wed pm) and Water-walking (Sun am).
Other recreation
Spa pool and Mini golf on the Park, with archery sessions run one night per week, currently Wednesdays, and Water-Walking in the pool on a Sunday morning during peak season.
Tourist Attractions
Dartmoor, North and South coasts of Devon and Cornwall. Morwellham Quay, Cotele House(NT), Plymouth Aquarium, Eden Project an hour away.
Directions
From Tavistock, take the A390 towards Gunnislake and Callington. About 3 miles out of Tavistock, turn right at Gulworthy roundabout. We're about one mile along on the left.
