Description
Brynich is a new addition to the Caravan Club Site network near the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. It is wel located with excellent facilities. It boasts one of the best views of the central Beacons, including Pen-y-Fan, Cribyn and Corn Du.

Tourist Attractions
Brecon is a charming and friendly market town with many interesting places to visit, such as the Theatre, Cinema, Brecknock Museum, 24th Regiment Museum, Cathedral, and The Brecon Beacons National Park Visitors Centre is approx. 5 miles away.

There are craft shops selling Welsh cloths, pottery and souvenirs.

Many attractive cafes, restaurants & pubs are in the town or within a few miles of the park.

Sport and leisure are well catered for with a leisure centre in the town, two golf courses, hill walking, climbing, pony trekking and an indoor climbing wall. Also sailing, canoeing, boating, swimming, fishing, water skiing and wind surfing are all nearby.

Sugestions for a day out, within an hours drive, include:

The Dan-yr-Ogof Show Caves, the largest showcaves in Western Europe with iron age village, dinosaur park and Shire Horse Centre.
The Museum of Welsh Life at St. Fagans,
Big Pit mining museum,
The Ystradfellta waterfalls,
A drive around the Elan Valley and Llyn Branne Reservoirs,
The castles at Cardiff, Caerphilly and Raglan,
The long house at Tretower,
Or a ride on the narrow gauge Brecon Mountain Railway.
Directions
Routes: From the South East, head for M4 West and drive to Junction 24. Take A449 to Raglan and A40 to Brecon. From Midlands and North head for M5 south to Junction 8, then M50 and A40 to Brecon. From South Wales use the A470 to Brecon. The Caravan Park is situated on the A470, 200 meters from the junction with the A40, 2Km east of Brecon.
