My family has just returned from a week at this excellent site. We experienced a lot of rain, which did leave areas of the Woodland and surrounding grass waterlogged. This problem is recognised by the management and they are working to improve the drainage.
Having said that, the site is extremely clean and quiet. The facilities were well designed and cleaned to a high standard. The shop is well stockecdand the outdoor pool was enjoyed by my brave children (considering the weather). With regard to the previous reviewers comments, the site is not the cheapest around and they do have some site rules, but in my opinion, this made for a quality site, where campers were encouraged to act responsibly. This is a good thing in my eyes and I would stongly recommend this site.

Not inpressed really found it to be very strict so making me uncomfortable. Very expensive as every person charged even charged for extra car which had to be parked just outside site entrance. Camping field was very uneven and got water logged really easy which resulted in us leaving half way through or holiday. Also we were greeted with a comment that we were classed as a group booking which wasn't allowed but would be overlooked this time which it should have as it had all been pre booked and paid in full on booking so not my issue. ( 2 Women with our children oldest being 9yrs sharing 1 tent)

Just returned from 2 nights at Wareham Forest.We booked in as we were passing and had no previous experience. The facilities were excellent. All areas on the park were clean. The staff were very helpful and the setting beautiful. We would recommend to anyone. We have registered for loyalty card and are looking at using another Best of British site next year.

just returned from our 7th visit to this park and yet again cant find any faults (apart from weather). We are already looking forward to next years visit and hope to stay longer, park is very clean,showers and toilet block are also very clean.pool a bit chilly from me, staff are nice and friendly also very helpful, will stop and have a chat with you and go out their way to help in anyway they can. Bring on the sunshine for next year.

We have just returned home from Wareham forest we had to cut short our break because of the rain (it happens) but the park was really nice and the staff very helpful, I wondered if they would be enough showers available in the high season but thats the only down side, apart from that a first class site and hopefully we will be back later in the year. Second visit to this site 2005 being the first. An outstanding site . Set in a magnificent setting . Pitches were faultless cleanliness excellent and a fanastic place to visit with dogs as it is surrounded by Forestry.
Swimmimng pool was wonderful I visited in June it was warm and to a very high standard.
The owners on site are extremely helpful and polite and strive very hard to make your stay enjoyable the site is a credit to them . I look forward to my return there next year.
