    Home Farm Caravan Park

    Five Star Rating

By The Lawrences: We had a last run out before the winter to Anglesey and one of our favourite sites - Home Farm. Even given the weather & wind it was still spotless and as always a very warm welcome. The place continues to improve each year and we will be back again hopefully for more than a weekend or 2 in 2014!

By geoffsmeeton: what a lovely place. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. Mentioned a tree branch hitting the caravan & waking me up. Within 5 minutes it had been dealt with! Food at the takeaway cooked to order & really nice & reasonably priced. Two nice pools. On the whole the place looked well cared for. The washing/toilet/shower facilities were the best I have ever seen.EXCELLENT THANK YOU ORCHARDS!

Ross Park is AA Campsite of the Year winner for 2012
Written by Jeanette Wilson
Sunday, 27 November 2011

Ross Park is delighted to be named as the England and Overall Winner of the AA Campsite of the Year for 2012 in an announcement by the AA.

The park beat off stiff competition from all the caravan parks inspected annually across the country by the AA.

“Visit this exceptional touring park and you know you are in for a real treat” was the view of the inspector on his visit this year.  Many factors contributed to Ross Park receiving the award, amongst them being the breathtaking flower displays; the large, secluded fully serviced pitches; the spotless, high quality shower facilities; the spacious play area; the impressive dog walking areas and dog shower.  The magnificent views of the rolling countryside towards Dartmoor and the glorious walks in the conservation flower meadows and parkland were also singled out for praise.

The inspectors were impressed by the general attention to detail in all areas, the enthusiasm of the owners and staff and the improvements made to the park each year which help to make Ross Park stand out from the crowd.

Ross Park was the Overall Winner of the Campsite of the year award in 2000 and the current accolade recognises the consistently high standards that have been maintained over the years at the park.  Only 3 other parks have won the Overall Campsite of the Year twice since the inception of the award.

Full details of the awards are published in the 2012 AA Caravan and Camping Guide for Britain and Ireland.
