By barry&doddie: Even with the terrible weather of the 2012 autumn, the greeting we had from the reception was warming and friendly. The pitches are excelent and weather proof, not flooded even with rain each day. The wardens are helpful and can turn their hand to anything to help the customers. The shop and facilities are of a very high standard being clean and warm. I cannot comment on all the entertainment listed as I did not use all but having seen the play areas and the games room I cannot fault them. Well worth a visit and return.

New Director for Hendra Holiday Park
Written by Jeanette Wilson
Thursday, 18 August 2011

Award winning, five-star, Hendra Holiday Park, in Newquay, is one of Cornwall’s biggest parks and has recently appointed a new director, firmly establishing the third generation of the family run park, which celebrates 40 years in 2012. Jon Hyatt, 26, is the son of directors Bob and Janine Hyatt and the nephew of directors Robert and Rebecca May.

Jon is especially interested in enhancing the park on a sustainable level and was closely involved in the latest project of creating Hendra’s Solar PV farm, which provides over 50% of the parks power. Jon says: “ As Hendra’s new director I hope to be part of lots of new and innovative sustainability projects.”

“I am really looking forward to the new challenges and responsibilities in this new role, in what is a dynamic company with a great team behind it. In addition to specific development projects such as minimising our future energy costs I will also be taking an in depth look at the various aspects and operations of the business, so I will certainly be very busy!”
